In Limerick Today will be launched on the 6th of January 2025. It will showcase many aspects of this proud city and county. Over 120 videos (available in multiple languages) and 500+ images will offer visitors a unique insight to Limerick's ancient history, it's modern history, it's rich music (traditional and modern) and it's cultural and sporting achievements. These pages also introduce many famous people who have links to this wonderful region of Ireland.
QR coded plaques located at numerous historical and cultural sites will link with our customised interactive maps which will guide visitors from one location to another either on foot, by bicycle, by car or by public transport. These maps also highlight nearby places to eat, to shop or to arrange accomodation. An interactive Calendar-Of-Events will assist visitors in planning their stay in this historic city and county.
